Universal Dental Spa opened in 2005. Dr. Margarita Rivera acquired the practice in October 2019.
From digital x-rays to intraoral cameras, Universal Dental Spa uses the most state-of-the-art equipment available in the Orlando area. Our caring team creates a calm and welcoming environment that will have you looking forward to your appointment. At Universal Dental Spa, we wake up every morning excited to make a difference in our patients’ lives.

Meet Dr. Margarita Rivera
Dr. Rivera earned a Dental Medicine Doctor Degree from the University of Pennsylvania, where she graduated with clinical honors. Furthermore, she was recognized with the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry Student Award of Merit for her outstanding achievement in the pursuit of excellence in the undergraduate study of Esthetic Dentistry at the University of Pennsylvania among 130 classmates. Also, in 1999, Dr. Rivera earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the "Universidad Javeriana" one of the most prestigious universities in Colombia.
Dr. Rivera has completed continuing education in Invisalign®, cosmetic dentistry, interceptive orthodontics, implant dentistry, and laser dentistry. Dr. Rivera is Invisalign®, laser, and nitrous oxide certified; besides, she is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the Academy of Laser Dentistry.
Dr. Rivera enjoys spending time with her husband and son, decorating, and traveling around the world.
